The CRS2 Top mount cover lifter works by using a locking hydraulic shock to lift the cover off of the spa and into an upright position. When you wish to close it down you will need to be sure that you press the orange locking button to release the lift, otherwise the lifter won’t close properly and can be damaged. Furthermore by using the cover lifter incorrectly you risk personal damage as the hydraulic lift is very powerful and can cause injury.
