Fits hard-shell hot tubs from Canadian Spa, Jacuzzi, Hotspring, Arctic Spas and most other major brands. Not compatible with inflatable spas.
Two tiers, every size, in stock in the UK
If your old cover is sagging, waterlogged or letting your bills creep up — here's how ours are built differently, and how to pick the right one.
-
DELUXE 5"/3" — the cover we fit to our own spas
Our 5"/3" tapered ultra-thick replacement cover is the same spec we ship as standard on our acrylic hot tub range. R 18.5 insulation, 1.5 LB Type II expanded polystyrene core, 6mil vapour barrier, marine-grade vinyl. The heat-retention difference vs a thinner cover typically pays the upgrade back over a couple of years.
-
PROLINE 4"/3" — proper insulation at a sharp price
Our most popular replacement. 4"/3" tapered foam, 5" skirt, 8 locking straps, 6mil vapour barrier, full steam seal, aluminium centre channel. Significantly better than the flat 3" covers most rivals stock at this price — and shaped to shed rainwater rather than pool it.
-
Every 2" size, grey or brown, UK stock
We carry every 2" increment from 78" to 92" in both grey and brown — all stocked in the UK so you don't wait on overseas shipping. We advise 10 working days from order to driveway because of the bulk and weight, but most go out faster than that.
-
Fits any hard-shell spa brand — just buy bigger than your spa
Our covers fit hard-shell hot tubs from Canadian Spa, Jacuzzi, Hotspring, Arctic Spas, Aegean, Clearwater and most other brands. Not compatible with inflatable spas. Sizing rule: a cover that's bigger than your spa always works (no insulation loss from overhang); a cover that's the same size or smaller will sit on the skirting flaps and break the insulation seal.

Why replace
Six reasons your old cover is worth replacing
If you bought your hot tub more than three or four winters ago, the cover is almost certainly the weakest link in your insulation. Here's what a fresh replacement gives you.
-
Cut your monthly running cost
A waterlogged or sagging cover can double your spa's heating bill. A fresh tapered cover with intact insulation pays for itself fast — particularly in winter, when the temperature delta is biggest.
-
Tapered, not flat — rainwater runs off
Both PROLINE and DELUXE covers taper to 3" at the centre fold, so rainwater drains rather than pooling. Pooled water on a flat cover is the #1 cause of foam waterlogging and premature cover failure.
-
6mil vapour barrier
The foam core is sealed inside a heavy 6mil poly vapour barrier. That stops moisture creeping into the foam, which is what makes old covers heavy, saggy and useless within 18 months.
-
8 locking straps for child safety
Eight locking straps keep the cover secured to the spa body. Both halves of the buckle are included so you can install them in the right position on your spa — essential if you have children, dogs or a windy garden.
-
Marine-grade vinyl, mildew-inhibiting bottom
UV-stable marine-grade vinyl on the top, mildew-inhibiting vinyl on the underside. Designed to live outdoors through British weather without fading, cracking or going mouldy.
-
Compatible with standard cover lifters
Our covers work with standard top-mount and bottom-mount cover lifters — ours included. Six reinforced triple-folded vinyl handles make manual lifting easier when a lifter isn't fitted.
Common questions
Replacement cover FAQ
PROLINE vs DELUXE — which should I buy?
Most customers choose PROLINE — it's our best-seller and the price-competitive option. The 4"/3" tapered foam, 5" skirt and 6mil vapour barrier deliver proper insulation, well above the flat 3" covers most competitors stock at this price. PROLINE comes with a 1-year warranty.
DELUXE is the upsell. It's the same 5"/3" ultra-thick cover we fit to our own acrylic spas as standard, with a 2-year warranty. The thicker foam core means noticeably less heat loss, and in our experience the difference in your monthly running cost typically pays the upgrade back over a couple of years — sooner if your spa lives outside in an exposed spot.
How do I measure my hot tub cover?
Easiest method: measure across the centre fold of your existing cover, edge to edge. Do this in both directions for a square cover.
If your existing cover has gone misshapen or you're starting fresh, measure the spa itself — furthest point to furthest point, edge to edge, in both directions. Then pick a cover size that's bigger than that measurement (see next question).
What if my measurement falls between two of your sizes?
Always go up to the next size. A cover that's slightly bigger than your spa will always work — the small overhang doesn't affect insulation. A cover that's the same size as your spa, or smaller, will sit on the skirting flaps rather than the rim, which breaks the insulation seal and lets heat escape from the sides.
Will this fit my Jacuzzi / Hotspring / Arctic / other brand?
Yes — our replacement covers fit any major hard-shell spa brand, including Jacuzzi, Hotspring, Arctic Spas, Aegean, Clearwater and most others. The cover doesn't need to match the brand of the spa — it just needs to be the right shape (square with rounded corners, or round) and slightly bigger than the spa itself. Measure across the existing cover or across the spa, then pick the next size up from our range. Not compatible with inflatable spas (Lay-Z-Spa, Intex etc.) — those need a fitted inflatable lid, not a rigid foam cover.
What about corner radius — do you offer different ones?
We make our square covers with a 4" / 10cm corner radius, which is cross-compatible with any larger corner radius without any loss of insulation. A larger corner radius is just a more swooping curve at the corner — the cover still seals correctly. If your spa has a corner radius of 4" or larger, our cover will fit.
How long does delivery take?
We advise 10 working days from order to your driveway because of the bulk and weight of the cover, but in practice most orders go out faster than that. Every cover is stocked in the UK — you're not waiting on overseas shipping.
Delivery is included as kerb-side. Some Highland and Island postcodes carry a surcharge — please call or email for a quote in those areas.
How long does a hot tub cover last?
A well-looked-after cover should last 4-7 years in UK conditions. Signs it's time to replace: the cover feels heavy when you lift it (the foam has waterlogged), the centre is sagging or pooling water, the vinyl is splitting or fading, your monthly running cost has crept up, or the locking straps no longer hold properly. A wash with mild soap and water once a year, plus brushing off snow and leaves, dramatically extends cover life.
What's the warranty?
PROLINE covers carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty. DELUXE 5"/3" ultra-thick covers carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Both warranties cover manufacturing defects in the foam core, vinyl and stitching.
UK buying guide
Replacement Hot Tub Covers UK — buying guide
Replacing a hot tub cover is one of the highest-return upgrades you can make to an older spa. The cover is the single biggest factor in how much heat your spa loses overnight — once the foam waterlogs or the seal goes, your running cost climbs. We stock every 2" size from 78" to 92" in both grey and brown, all in the UK, in two tiers — so most owners can get a like-for-like replacement on their driveway in around 10 working days.
PROLINE vs DELUXE — picking the right tier
- PROLINE 4"/3" tapered — our best-seller, sharply priced, 1-year warranty. Significantly better insulation than the flat 3" covers most competitors offer in this bracket.
- DELUXE 5"/3" ultra-thick — the same cover we fit to our own acrylic spas as standard, 2-year warranty. The thicker foam typically pays back the upgrade cost over a couple of years through reduced heating.
How to measure your hot tub cover
- Measure across the centre fold of your existing cover, edge to edge, in both directions
- If the cover is misshapen, measure the spa itself — furthest point to furthest point, edge to edge
- Always pick a cover size bigger than your measurement — never the same or smaller
Why bigger always wins
A cover slightly bigger than your spa sits correctly on the rim and seals the insulation. A small overhang doesn't reduce insulation. A cover the same size as the spa, or smaller, sits on the skirting flaps rather than the rim — that breaks the insulation seal and lets heat escape from all four sides.
Brand compatibility
Our replacement covers fit Canadian Spa, Jacuzzi, Hotspring, Arctic Spas, Aegean, Clearwater and most other popular hard-shell spa brands. The cover doesn't need to match the brand of the spa. Not compatible with inflatable spas (Lay-Z-Spa, Intex etc.) — those use a fitted inflatable lid rather than a rigid foam cover.

Frequently asked
When should I replace my hot tub cover?
Replace when the cover feels heavy (waterlogged foam), sags in the middle, splits or fades, no longer seals properly at the edges, or when your running cost has crept up. Most covers last 4-7 years in UK conditions with light annual cleaning.
What sizes of replacement hot tub cover do you stock UK?
We stock every 2" increment from 78" x 78" (198cm) up to 92" x 92" (233cm) in both square (rounded corner) and selected round sizes. Every size is held in UK stock in both grey and brown. If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger.
How thick should a replacement hot tub cover be?
Avoid flat 3" covers — they hold rainwater and waterlog quickly. Our PROLINE is 4"/3" tapered (4" at the edge, 3" at the centre fold). Our DELUXE is 5"/3" tapered — the same spec we fit to our own acrylic spas. The taper sheds rainwater; the thicker edge holds the heat in.
Will a Canadian Spa cover fit my Jacuzzi, Hotspring or Arctic hot tub?
Yes. Our covers fit any brand of hard-shell square (rounded-corner) or round hot tub at the right size. Measure across the existing cover, or measure the spa itself edge to edge, then pick the next size up from our range. The cover just needs to be bigger than the spa to work properly. Not compatible with inflatable spas — those need a fitted inflatable lid rather than a rigid foam cover.
How quickly can you deliver a replacement cover in the UK?
We advise 10 working days from order, but most go out faster — every size is stocked in the UK so you're not waiting on overseas freight. Delivery is included as kerb-side to UK mainland; Highland and Island postcodes may carry a surcharge.
