Replacement small Boston inflation check valve for Canadian Spa portable hot tubs. The one-way Boston valve lets you inflate the cover lid or body bladder while preventing air escaping – if your spa cover won't hold pressure, a worn or cracked check valve is the most common cause.
Important – check your size before ordering. Two very similar valve sizes are used across our portable spas. This is the small valve:
Specifications
- Outer diameter: 40 mm
- Thread diameter: 22 mm
- Type: one-way Boston inflation valve
Compatibility
Fits the inflatable bladder sections (lids and body) of Canadian Spa portable hot tubs that use the small 40 mm Boston valve. Measure your existing valve's outer diameter to confirm before purchase.
FAQ
How do I know my valve needs replacing? If the bladder slowly deflates after inflation, or the valve cap no longer seals, replace the valve.

Buying and support guide
We supply the Small Boston Inflation Check Valve with clear specs and UK support. Before you order, check it suits your spa model, size, connector type, power supply and access. This helps you avoid delays and returns.
Replacing a part? Match it to your spa's model and year where you can. For pumps, control packs, heaters, jets, covers, filters, topsides and plumbing, check the part number and connection type. Compare delivery time, warranty and support as well as price.
Running costs matter as much as the price you pay. Energy use, insulation, cover condition, filters and water care all affect long-term value. Replacing worn parts early and keeping the water moving and filtered can save on repairs.
Looking for a whole new tub rather than a part? Compare hot tubs, swim spas and saunas by seating, hydrotherapy, who will use it and the space you have.
