Worked running-cost examples
Predictive heating does not change the physics of heating water. It changes when the heater runs, so the spa is warm when you want it and not working hard when you do not. To understand what that is worth, it helps to know what heat costs.
The energy to warm water is: litres x temperature rise in °C x 4.186, divided by 3,600, which gives kWh. Multiply that by your unit rate. These examples use the October to December 2026 Ofgem cap rate of 26.32p per kWh.
