§ 01 · THE WINNIPEG

Elegant,
energy-efficient,
built to last.

An ergonomically sculpted no-float lounger runs along one side, with bucket seats and a bench arrangement wrapping around the rest — room for six adults without anyone being in anyone's way. The contours under your thighs and across your seat hold you in the water, which matters more than it sounds: the moment you switch on the 5HP pump, a flat lounger will quietly lift you out of your seat. Ours doesn't. 35 adjustable hydro-massage jets on a WhiteWater™ delivery system let you dial in real pressure where you want it.

A built-in aromatherapy canister releases your choice of soothing scents on a warm air draw, while two slow-rise waterproof Bluetooth speakers with built-in amplifiers carry the evening. Multi-coloured Aurora™ LED lighting shifts the mood: perimeter lights along the waterline, large underwater LEDs, and an LED-backlit cascading waterfall.

The Winnipeg ships with 100 ft² of filtration — two 50 ft² Microban Glacier cartridges — paired with a built-in ozone generator to keep water crystal clear without hassle. Built from durable acrylic, the shell is made to withstand years of British weather, from winter frosts to the heat of summer. An unbeatable combination of value, high-end features and sleek modern design.

§ 02 · Engineered In Detail

Every feature earning its place.

No gimmicks. The Winnipeg is built around the things that genuinely make a hot tub better to own — adjustable hydrotherapy, considered lighting, clean water, and heat that stays exactly where it should.

01 · HYDROTHERAPY
35jets
Adjustable Hydrotherapy

35 adjustable hydro-massage jets on a WhiteWater™ Jet Delivery System, powered by a strong 5HP pump. Oversized pipework and tailored air venturi controls let you vary the water jet pressure and customise your massage to target the muscles you need.

02 · SANITATION
AO3P
Mountain Pure™ UV + Ozone

Mountain Pure™ sanitation combines ozone and UV-C to neutralise bacteria without over-chlorinating the water. The cleanest water with the fewest chemicals — kinder on skin and eyes, easier on the filters.

03 · FILTRATION
100ft²
Microban Glacier

The Winnipeg ships with 100 ft² of filtration — two 50 ft² Microban Glacier cartridges installed. Microban-infused media inhibits bacterial growth on the filter itself for the life of the cartridge, and water is filtered before reaching critical components to reduce the risk of damage.

04 · LIGHTING
colours
Aurora™ LED System

Full multi-zone control: perimeter waterline lights, large underwater LEDs, and an LED-backlit cascading waterfall. Shift the mood from soak to swim to sleep with the touch of a button.

05 · HEAT RETENTION
3kW
Balboa Smart Heating

3kW Balboa heater with smart sensors — shuts off within half a degree of your target. Triple-layer insulation with infra-red reflection and thermal transfer blocks on shell, cabinet and base.

06 · CONTROLS
BP
Balboa BP Controls

An extra-large overlay pad adjusts jets, pumps and temperature with a single touch. Reliable, responsive, and easy to use wet-handed — the control system trusted across the spa industry for decades.

07 · AUDIO

Bluetooth Speakers

Two slow-rise waterproof retractable speakers with built-in high-fidelity amplifiers deliver clear acoustics at volume — pair your phone from anywhere in the garden.

08 · ENERGY
72hr
ThermalSprings™

Our Heat Reclamation System prevents heat loss and recycles sanitised water. High-density closed-cell foam in the shell captures motor waste heat — warming the water, not the outside air.

§ 03 · The Finish

Why we only
do one colour.

Most hot tub brands offer four or five shell colours. We offer one — a white shell with an understated marbling through it, paired with a dark brown cabinet that matches the cover. It isn't a compromise. It's the answer we arrived at after years of watching owners live with their spas.

01

No weekly wipe-down.

Calcium builds up at the waterline on every hot tub — that's just hot water chemistry. On dark shells, you see it. You end up wiping the tub down on a regular basis to keep it looking respectable. On our marbled white, the calcium is still there, but it disappears into the finish. Most people buy a hot tub to take away their stress, not to give themselves a part-time job wiping it down. That's the main reason we landed on white.

02

The lighting comes alive at night.

The Aurora™ LED package — perimeter lights, large underwater LEDs, and the LED-backlit cascading waterfall — was designed to wash colour across the shell. A white marbled interior picks up and carries every hue. On a dark shell, the lights just sit there. On this one, they paint the whole tub.

03

Built to sit with garden furniture.

The dark brown cabinet is colour-matched to the cover, and the pairing is designed to sit naturally alongside rattan — the most common garden furniture choice in a British back garden. It's not trying to be a feature. It's trying to blend in.

§ 04 · Seating Layout

Six seats.
Three positions.

Every seat in the Winnipeg has been placed with the body in mind — where your armrests naturally fall, how deep you sit, and which muscle group meets which jet cluster.

  • 01 / NO-FLOAT LOUNGER
    No-Float Lounger

A contoured, ergonomically sculpted lounger runs along one side of the tub — calves, thighs, lumbar, shoulders all in one seat. The no-float moulding anchors you in the water when the jets fire, so a flat lounger's tendency to lift you out of your seat on full pump is designed out. Jet clusters fire along the spine and into the calves for the deepest, longest massage in the spa.

  • 02 / BUCKET SEATS
    Sculpted Bucket Seats

Deep, upright bucket positions around the main footwell. Jets target the lower back, hips and shoulders — the workhorse seats for an everyday soak.

  • 03 / BENCH
    Cool-Down Bench

A raised bench for a shallower soak or a few minutes of cool-down before you step out. Comfortable for guests who want to sit chest-high and chat.

— A note on fit

The Winnipeg seats six adults comfortably — but like any 198 × 198 cm spa, it soaks four or five most nights, with the sixth seat useful when friends come over. If you want the maximum physical depth of soak for a tall frame, take a look at the Vancouver UV (227 × 227 cm, twin no-float loungers). Not sure which way to go? Book a showroom visit and sit in both.

"Engineer condemned a defective tub — replaced without any issue."

Our experience with Canadian Spa Company has been absolutely fantastic. If I start with the sales experience — we came to your showroom and warehouse in Redhill, with a wife who was in two minds as to whether we wanted a hot tub. Everyone's passion and product knowledge was so clear and enthusiastic that it was an easy sell. You really knew your detail and all questions were answered, including evaluating which tub suited our needs best.

The delivery was on the date requested, and the chaps who installed gave my wife very helpful and clear details as to how to maintain the tub, including when and how much chemical was needed, and what needed cleaning and when. These details have ensured our tub has stayed in perfect working order with perfect chemical balance throughout the winter and spring.

We were unfortunate that the original tub sprung several leaks after a fortnight, and your engineer came over immediately and after several hours of trying to repair the leaks came to the conclusion that our tub had failed his quality control as the holes were defective. He immediately condemned the tub. The tub was changed out and replaced without any issue and efficiently — fantastic customer service.

We have since had lots of fun throughout the winter and spring, and regularly get asked by friends where we got the tub from — I am always happy to recommend you. I can clearly see you have a strong emphasis on providing a quality product and matching that with first-class service, including down to no hassles when ordering chemicals over the internet. I wish there were more companies that had such a high regard in their product and customers equally.

"Heated up fast — used it the same day it arrived."

Great spa — excellent value, heats fast, filter cycle is quiet, great customer service from Canadian Spa Co. Fast delivery — it arrived just 5 weeks after ordering. Heated up fast, we used it the same day it arrived and every day since.

Jets are powerful and seats are very comfortable. LED lighting is great. The guys at Canadian Spa Co are easy to deal with and they helped me out with ordering other accessories and chemicals (great prices). I would recommend this model to anyone.

"In it every night — love the versatility of the jets."

We just purchased the Winnipeg after much research and are thrilled with both the way it looks and operates. I have been in it every night and love the versatility of the jets and the ease of use.

We had questions and called the Canadian Spa Company and they were extremely helpful and quick to respond — no issues so far and expect none in future. Great value and great product.

"Five stars — though the cover clips are annoying at –20 °C."

Good spa. We have owned several spas and have now been using the Winnipeg for about 5 weeks. It's affordable, energy efficient, and operates very quietly. The seats are comfortable and the controls are very simple. I give it five stars.

One area of improvement: the cover that comes with it has clips that are very hard to work — which is a little annoying when it's –20 °C out there :)

"Bought without seeing it in person — WOW."

We purchased the Winnipeg model after looking everywhere for a hot tub. Initially we were worried about buying this model without seeing it in person or sitting in it — but we called the Canadian Spa Co. and they were very helpful and offered the info we needed to make the purchase.

The tub arrived promptly and filled up fast and we were in it the same day. WOW. It heated up quickly and the versatility in the jets is fantastic. We are more than satisfied — it is a great value.

Our friends and I have enjoyed the tub very much since we got it two months ago. It will make our long winter much easier to tolerate. Thanks.

"Even after a year, your company are still interested in us — and our grandson loves the buttons."

It is nice to know that even after a year of purchase that your company are still interested in us, the customer. The fact that it is one of life's little luxuries is understated — our family visiting now entails 'is the hot tub available?', especially with our grandson.

The truth be known, we would have liked some kind of cover over the surface controls, as our said grandson when only 2 years of age just loved pressing all the buttons, especially to change lighting and bubbles. Little fingers everywhere. A small price to pay (providing you check the temp figures once he has finished).

We all love it especially in the warm evenings, and can't wait to move it into its new home (a covered Japanese tea house!) once my partner has built it. A roof is a must to use it all year round — cold rain feels worse on your head when the rest of your body is lovingly submerged.

With the device we bought to lift the cover, everything is so easy — the only problem now is that my partner wants the television moved closer in the house so that he can watch the World Cup in total comfort. Thank you once again for such a wonderful piece of kit, and for giving us the pleasure we deserved ourselves.

"Cover lifter replaced quickly after we contacted Canadian Spa."

We are enjoying using the Winnipeg hot tub a great deal — it is very well made and looks and feels the part. We did initially have a problem with the cover lifter, but this was replaced after contacting Canadian Spa.

Delivery and installation was excellent, and I found the installers very knowledgeable. All in all very pleased with the product and the service. Many thanks.

§ 08 · Before You Buy

Questions worth asking.

Can I get the Winnipeg in another colour?

We only ship one finish: a marbled white shell with a dark brown cabinet and brown cover, designed to sit naturally alongside rattan garden furniture. It's a deliberate decision — the white shell hides waterline calcium that you'd otherwise be wiping off a dark shell every week, and it carries the Aurora™ LED lighting far better at night.

A few of our other ranges (Patio Spas, London SE, Erie SE, Alberta and Kingston) ship with black covers — but the Winnipeg is brown across the board.

What's included in delivery and how long will it take?

Free kerbside delivery to mainland UK — we bring the Winnipeg to the kerbside at your delivery address. You'll need clear access for the lorry and enough people on-site to move it into position. The Scottish Highlands are quotable on request.

If you'd rather not move it yourself, we offer an Upgraded Back Garden Installation Service for +£799. Our team handles getting the spa from the kerb into its final position in your garden. Access is the main thing to think about — we'll confirm the route with you before the day.

Current lead times: allow 2–3 weeks for kerbside delivery and 3–4 weeks for the Back Garden Installation Service. These are the cautious estimates we're quoting right now — we're normally faster than this, and we'll always confirm a firm date with you once your order is in.

How do the filters work, and when do they need replacing?

Your Winnipeg arrives with two 50 ft² Microban Glacier filters already installed and ready to go — 100 ft² of filtration in total. The filter media is infused with Microban, an antimicrobial agent that inhibits bacterial growth on the filter itself for the full life of the cartridge. Paired with the Mountain Pure™ UV + ozone sanitation, it means cleaner water with fewer chemicals.

Replacement schedule: we recommend replacing the filters every 4–6 months, or sooner if they look discoloured or worn.

A good trick: keep two sets of filters on rotation, so you can pop in a clean set while you soak and rinse the used set overnight.

Who is the Winnipeg best suited to?

The Winnipeg is our best-value six-seater — a 198 × 198 cm footprint, a no-float lounger, 35 adjustable jets and Mountain Pure™ UV + ozone water care for £3,999. It's the right spa for a household of 2–4 people who want room to host six, a proper lounger for a long soak, and a modern look without the flagship price tag.

If you want more jets and twin loungers for a larger footprint (227 × 227 cm), take a look at the Vancouver UV. Unsure? Book a showroom visit and sit in both.

Do I need an annual service to keep the warranty active?

No. Our 2-year parts and labour warranty runs from the date of delivery with no mandatory annual service. Some brands require a paid manufacturer service every year to keep cover active — miss one, warranty voided. We think that's a tax, not a condition.

That said: an annual service is still a good idea for the long-term health of any hot tub. It's a recommendation we'll happily make — it's just not tied to your cover.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Two separate layers, both included as standard:

2 years parts & labour — the shell structure, pump, heater, and control system. If something fails in normal use, we replace the part and fit it, anywhere in the UK.

10 years against water loss through the shell structure — structural protection for the core integrity of the acrylic body.

You can also extend the parts and labour cover by a further 2 years for £850 (this tier; £500 on Patio Spas, £1,200 on Swim Spas). The extension is stackable — buy it twice and you get four additional years — and can be purchased at any point while still under warranty.

What electrical supply do I need?

The Winnipeg runs on 230 V and needs to be wired to a dedicated 32 A RCD breaker in your consumer unit, via an outside rotary isolator switch. Your electrician runs the cable (typically 6 mm armoured tri-core) from the RCD to the spa, and should leave roughly 5 m of slack outside the footprint of the spa so our installers can bring the armoured tail into the cabinet and connect it on delivery day. None of this kit — the breaker, the isolator, the cable, or the cable gland — is supplied with the spa or brought by our installers; we connect using the tail your electrician leaves. It's a short, straightforward job for any competent spark, but please have them lined up and the cable run ahead of delivery. Electrical connection itself sits outside our delivery and installation service.

How much does the Winnipeg cost to run?

Running costs depend on your energy tariff, how often you use the spa, and your discipline with the cover. Thanks to the ThermalSprings™ heat reclamation system, triple-layer insulation with infra-red reflection, and the winter-rated hardtop cover, the Winnipeg is one of the more energy-efficient six-seaters on the market — several owners have specifically called out how efficient and quiet it runs.

Most UK owners report monthly running costs in the region of £60–£75 a month across the year, working out to roughly £2–£2.50 a day. Pairing the spa with our optional Balboa Clim8zone II heat pump typically reduces that further. Speak to the team on 01293 824 094 and we'll model your specific setup.

Is it actually usable all year round?

Yes. The Winnipeg is built for year-round outdoor use — acrylic shell, triple-layer insulation, and a heat-trapping winter-rated hardtop cover with locking straps. Many owners say a soak on a cold, clear night is the single best argument for owning one.

What's included in the price?

As standard you get the hardtop locking insulating cover, the Aurora™ LED lighting system, the Bluetooth audio system, the two installed Microban Glacier filters, the aromatherapy canister, all manuals, and free kerbside delivery to mainland UK. Add the installation package and we also include a top-mount cover lifter, a black plastic step, and a chemical starter kit — these three can also be purchased separately if you don't want the install. What we don't supply is any of the electrical kit — the 32 A RCD breaker, outside rotary isolator, armoured cable, and cable gland all sit outside our scope and are fitted by your qualified electrician ahead of delivery day.

Can I see it in person?

Yes — please do. Our showroom is at Canada House, Unit 1, Salbrook Road, Redhill, Surrey · RH1 5GL. Ten minutes from Gatwick. Open Monday to Friday 9am–6pm and weekends 10am–4pm. No appointment needed, but booking means we'll try to have the Winnipeg available to view for you when you arrive.
