The Toronto Spa: Transforming Your Garden into a Private Retreat

When Your Garden Becomes Somewhere to Relax

There is a moment in the evening when everything softens. The air cools slightly, the light fades, and the noise of the day feels further away. You step onto the terrace and take a breath. No notifications. No background noise. Just stillness.

A garden can easily become a forgotten space. A walkway. A patch of lawn. Somewhere you pass through rather than somewhere you pause.

Add something designed for comfort and time together, and that changes. It becomes somewhere you choose to spend time.

This is where the Toronto Spa comes in.

A Garden Spa Designed for Real Living

The Toronto Spa is not simply about appearance. It is about creating a space that works for modern life. A space that can be used after work, at weekends, in winter, in summer.

It blends into patios and decking naturally, but its impact is immediate. The garden stops being background and starts becoming part of everyday living.

That comes down to more than looks. It is built into the engineering.

Hydrotherapy Engineered for Complete Control

Hydrotherapy is not simply about how many jets a spa has. It is about the type of jets, how they are positioned and how much control you have over them.

As the comparison below shows, the Toronto Spa features 44 individually positioned hydrotherapy jets. These include both directional and rotational massage jets, each designed to deliver a different therapeutic effect.

Directional jets provide targeted pressure to specific muscle groups. Rotational jets create a circular motion, offering a deeper and more dynamic massage experience. Together, they allow you to alternate between focused muscle relief and broader relaxation.

Every jet is individually adjustable. By rotating the jet face, you can increase or decrease water flow, giving you precise control over the intensity. Air control valves regulate how much air is mixed into the water stream, allowing you to further refine pressure and circulation.

In addition, diverter valves let you direct pump power to specific seating areas. Rather than distributing pressure evenly across all seats, you can concentrate it exactly where it is needed.

This level of adjustability means the experience adapts to you. Gentle relaxation one evening. More intensive muscle relief the next.

Supporting this system is a powerful 2-speed 5HP pump, working in combination with efficient plumbing and a multi-pump configuration. Unlike many typical 6-person spas that rely on a basic single-pump system, the Toronto Spa maintains consistent pressure across all seating positions.

It is powerful hydrotherapy that you can tailor to suit you.

Diverse Seating Designed for Every User

Comfort is not one-size-fits-all. The Toronto Spa includes a variety of seating arrangements to accommodate different body types and preferences.

Oversized Footwell with Foot Jets

Oversized footwell in the Toronto Spa with integrated foot jets and textured base for added comfort and stability.

The generously sized oversized footwell ensures all users can sit comfortably without their feet touching awkwardly. Integrated foot jets provide additional massage therapy.

This area also incorporates a built-in step with a stippled surface for improved grip. It acts as a safe entry point and can also serve as a cool-down seat for children.

Captain's Seat

Captain’s seat in the Toronto Spa with targeted hip jets, arm circulation jet and cushioned headrest for focused hydrotherapy massage.

The captain’s seat is ideal for taller individuals or the primary spa user seeking targeted hydrotherapy. It includes well-positioned jets and a comfortable LED headrest for added support.

Barrier-Free Seating

Barrier-free seating design inside the Toronto Spa with multiple hydrotherapy jets allowing users to stretch comfortably while receiving full back massage.

Barrier-free seating allows users to stretch out naturally rather than being restricted by heavily moulded shapes. The jets are configured to massage multiple areas of the body, offering flexibility and freedom of movement.

No-Float Lounger

Ergonomic no-float lounger in the Toronto Spa featuring adjustable hip jets, foot jets and arm rest for stable, full-body hydrotherapy support.
Unlike traditional loungers that can cause users to float upward, this ergonomic no-float lounger design keeps your body mass lower and stable. You remain fully supported while receiving consistent massage across your back and legs.

This diversity of seating ensures that every user finds a position that feels natural and comfortable.

Advanced 3-Step Water Purification

Clean water is just as important as comfort.

The Toronto Spa includes Canadian Spa Company’s 3-step water purification system, combining filtration, ozone and UV technology.

Mechanical Filtration

The antibacterial filtration system removes fine particles and debris while helping to inhibit bacterial growth.

Ozone Purification

Ozone is injected into the water via a mixing chamber. It oxidises organic contaminants and supports overall water freshness.

Integrated UV System

The UV system neutralises bacteria within the water circulation process. This multi-stage purification helps keep spa water clear while reducing the need for excessive chemical use.

The result is cleaner water, lower chlorine demand and less ongoing maintenance.

Energy Efficiency and Insulation

The Toronto Spa includes Blackout insulation, a fully insulated cabinet system designed to retain heat, and an ABS sealed base to protect against moisture ingress and heat loss.

Efficient plumbing with oversized 2.5-inch intake lines allows improved water flow with reduced resistance. There are no tight angles or restrictive pipework that would compromise pressure.

This attention to plumbing design enhances both hydrotherapy performance and long-term durability.

Built for Long-Term Reliability

The Toronto Spa is designed and manufactured by Canadian Spa Company, with durability at its core. It incorporates high-quality components, including Balboa technology, to ensure consistent and dependable performance.

The integrated heater maintains stable water temperature, while the digital control system allows precise adjustments. Sensors monitor water flow and pressure to support safe operation.

Long-term reliability also depends on aftercare. Canadian Spa Company stocks all essential spa components, from pumps and heaters to control systems and replacement parts. Genuine parts are readily available whenever servicing or replacement is required.

The Toronto Spa is engineered not only to perform well today, but to continue performing for years to come.

Getting More From Your Garden Every Day

The Toronto Spa extends the usable space of your home. It encourages year-round outdoor living and changes how you use your garden.

It gives you somewhere to unwind and catch up at the end of the day.

Not as an occasional treat, but as part of daily life.

Seating layout in practice

The mix of seats is what makes the Toronto work for a household. The captain's seat suits a taller adult who wants focused jets. The no-float lounger lets one person stretch out without drifting up. The barrier-free seats leave room to move, and the step in the footwell doubles as a cooler perch for older children. For six adults it is a sociable tub. For a couple or a family of four, it gives everyone a seat that suits them.

Running costs

Heating 1,000 litres from 10°C mains water to 38°C takes about 32.6 kWh of heat. At the October to December 2026 price cap average of 26.32p per kWh, that is about £8.60 before any heat loss, so the first fill will cost more than this in practice. After that, day-to-day cost depends mainly on the cover, how often the lid is open and how exposed your garden is. Keep the cover strapped down and in good condition to keep costs down.

Ideal garden setups

  • Base: a level concrete slab is the best choice for a 1,380 kg tub before bathers. A deck must be designed for the load.
  • Shelter: the Toronto's 213 cm footprint fits inside our Fraser gazebo, which takes tubs up to 228 x 228 cm.
  • Clearance: leave room behind for the cover or lifter, and keep the service side clear.
  • Power: plan the 32 amp supply route with your electrician before the base goes down.
