Canadian Spa Company Owner`s Manual (Warranty)

Our Canadian Spa Owners Manual outlines all of the specific requirements from installing to maintaining your hot tub and explains the Warranty Details to you. Haven`t checked it before? Here are a couple of important pieces that need to be known…

  • When installing a Plug & Play hot tub, be sure to plug directly into a wall socket via an RCD (a Residual Current Device is a safety device that switches
off electricity if there is a fault and provides additional protection against electric
shock). Note: Do not use an extension cord to connect power to hot tub
  • Make sure you can provide access to all the surrounding panels of the hot tub in case service is required
  • Be sure to fill up the tub before turning it on
  • Your spa must be installed in line with UK wiring regulations, so use a qualified electrician registered with a competent person scheme

These are just a few significant details that need to be followed to ensure that your warranty won’t be considered void. Please read over the manual before use to save you money and keep you safe.

Warranty

At the Canadian Spa we pride ourselves in our customer service ability and believe that great service should be expected with every purchase. To honour this belief we require that each customer register their warranty on our site so that their spa can be looked after properly. This simple step requires just a few of your details to ensure that we have all the information we will need in case you have a problem. Your enjoyment is of the utmost importance to us, and we would like to ensure that you receive peace of mind with your purchase.

Register your hot tub warranty

Why register?

  • It links your spa's serial number to you, so any claim is quicker to process.
  • It gives us a record of your purchase date, which is when your warranty period starts.
  • It means we can contact you about your model if we need to.
  • It keeps the option open of buying an extended warranty before your original cover ends.

What is covered

Warranty terms vary by model, so check the details on our warranty page for your spa. Warranties cover manufacturing faults; they do not cover damage from incorrect water chemistry, poor installation, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Keep your warranty valid

  • Have the spa connected by a qualified electrician registered with a competent person scheme, and keep the certificate.
  • Keep water within range: total alkalinity 80 to 120 ppm, pH 7.2 to 7.6, free chlorine 1.0 to 1.5 ppm. Logging readings in the water test app gives you a record.
  • Replace filters on time: 6 to 12 months for hard-shell spas, or every 6 months for best performance (up to 12 for economy) with Glacier filters.
  • Use a well-fitting cover and keep it strapped down.
  • Book regular servicing. Our hot tub servicing team and our Hot Tub Health Check (£225) can help.

Extended warranty

Our extended warranty (£500) adds two more years once your original warranty ends. It covers key electronic components such as pumps, heaters and circuit boards, plus the labour to fit them. It does not cover the cover, jets, accessories, leaks or maintenance. You can buy it at any time before your original warranty ends.
