If you have purchased a CRS1 bottom mount cover lifter, be sure to exactly follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual, as improper installation could damage your cover lifter. The following graphic indicates the step that you should take extra care with when assembling the lifter.
Be sure that the top support bars are oriented correctly, and that the long end of the right angled piece lays ACROSS the top of the spa instead of down it. If this piece isn't oriented correctly the lift won't sit in the crease of the spa cover
