Decking around your hot tub

Decking

If you sink the spa into decking make sure you can remove the side panels in order to gain access to the spa’s inner working parts in the event you need to replace components.

In the unlike eventuality that work is needed inside the spa, it is recommended to leave an access of at least 60cm around it. If you decide to build decking around your spa you need to make sure that you or your spa engineer can gain access to the side panels around the spa. The spa can be recessed or semi-recessed, but some construction rules must be complied with, do not hesitate to ask us for help before delivery.

Security

Place your spa at least three metres away from any power line, electrical junction box, lighting system or switches, as a rule in order to protect yourself from electrical mishap.

Plan your privacy

Look at the direction you will be facing, from neighbouring windows, doors, trees or fences. Your hot tub location is very important to optimise your privacy and provide a relaxing environment for you and your family.
