According to a recent article in The Sunday Times:
‘At least one in 20 homeowners now has an outdoor heated water spa. Despite their associations with wild late-night parties, most are bought by families with teenage children or people looking for relief from muscle and joint pain, the industry says.
Their popularity is highlighted in a survey of 2,000 homeowners carried out by One Poll for Lloyds TSB Insurance. It found that between 4% and 10% of homeowners has a garden hot tub.’
