No matter how good the shell insulation is, over time eventually heat will make its way through the insulation (abeit slowly). Nonetheless we combat this by making sure all the cabinet & base panels have infra-red reflection panels attached (similar to the material wrapped around marathon runners after the race). The heat energy from the insulation and the waste heat from the components hits the walls and bottom before being bounced back creating a heated cavity within the cabinet.
That’s all very good you say, but how does that help? Well rather than have the air vents draw air from the cold outdoor air to add extra pressure, they draw from within the heated air cabinet to recycle the energy that would otherwise be wasted.
