§ 01 · THE VANCOUVER

Luxury
is the name
of the game.

Two ergonomically sculpted no-float loungers meet at a gracious step-in area. The contours under your thighs and across your seat hold you in the water — which matters more than it sounds, because the moment you switch on the 5HP pumps, a flat lounger will quietly lift you out of your seat. Ours don't. Either side, a pair of love seats sit closer together — the seating position for a conversation over a shared soak. Two additional upright seats complete the layout, giving six people room without anyone being in anyone's way.

A built-in aromatherapy system releases your choice of soothing scents on a warm air draw, while two slow-rise waterproof Bluetooth speakers with built-in amplifiers carry the evening. Multi-coloured Aurora™ LED lighting shifts the mood: perimeter lights along the waterline, large underwater LEDs, and an LED-backlit cascading waterfall.

The Vancouver ships with two 50ft² Glacier antimicrobial filters installed — and every replacement filter pack from then on includes a pair of fine-mesh pre-filter screens as standard, turning the filtration into a two-stage system that catches debris before it reaches the cartridge. Paired with a built-in ozone generator, it keeps water crystal clear with minimal chemical intervention. Built from Lucite® acrylic — one of the most durable spa-shell materials on the market — the shell is made to withstand years of British weather, from winter frosts to the heat of summer.

§ 02 · Engineered In Detail

Every feature earning its place.

No gimmicks. The Vancouver is built around the things that genuinely make a hot tub better to own — precision hydrotherapy, considered lighting, clean water, and heat that stays exactly where it should.

01 · HYDROTHERAPY
65jets
Adjustable Hydrotherapy

65 adjustable stainless steel jets on a WhiteWater™ Jet Delivery System, powered by two strong 5HP pumps. Oversized pipework and tailored air controls let you dial in serious pressure for neck, back, hips, legs and feet.

02 · SANITATION
AO3P
Glacier UV + Ozone

Mountain Pure™ sanitation combines ozone and UV-C to neutralise bacteria without over-chlorinating the water. The cleanest water with the fewest chemicals — kinder on skin and eyes, easier on the filters.

03 · FILTRATION
2×50 ft²
Glacier + Silver Ion

The Vancouver ships with two 50ft² Glacier antimicrobial filters installed — silver-ion infused media that inhibits bacterial growth for the life of the cartridge. Every replacement filter pack adds two fine-mesh pre-filter screens as standard, catching debris before it hits the cartridge. The filter is the dirtiest part of any appliance — so that's where the protection is built in.

04 · LIGHTING
colours
Aurora™ LED System

Full multi-zone control: perimeter waterline lights, large underwater LEDs, and an LED-backlit cascading waterfall. Shift the mood from soak to swim to sleep with the touch of a button.

05 · HEAT RETENTION
3kW
Balboa Smart Heating

3kW Balboa heater with smart sensors — shuts off within half a degree of your target. Triple-layer insulation with infra-red reflection and thermal transfer blocks on shell, cabinet and base.

06 · CONTROLS
BP
Balboa BP Controls

An extra-large overlay pad adjusts jets, pumps and temperature with a single touch. Reliable, responsive, and easy to use wet-handed — the control system trusted across the spa industry for decades.

07 · AUDIO
2×
Bluetooth Speakers

Two slow-rise waterproof retractable speakers with built-in high-fidelity amplifiers deliver clear acoustics at volume — pair your phone from anywhere in the garden.

08 · ENERGY
72hr
ThermalSprings™

Our Heat Reclamation System prevents heat loss and recycles sanitised water. High-density closed-cell foam in the shell captures motor waste heat — warming the water, not the outside air.

§ 03 · The Finish

Why we only
do one colour.

Most hot tub brands offer four or five shell colours. We offer one — a white shell with an understated marbling through it, paired with a dark brown cabinet that matches the cover. It isn't a compromise. It's the answer we arrived at after years of watching owners live with their spas.

01

No weekly wipe-down.

Calcium builds up at the waterline on every hot tub — that's just hot water chemistry. On dark shells, you see it. You end up wiping the tub down on a regular basis to keep it looking respectable. On our marbled white, the calcium is still there, but it disappears into the finish. Most people buy a hot tub to take away their stress, not to give themselves a part-time job wiping it down. That's the main reason we landed on white.

02

The lighting comes alive at night.

The Aurora™ LED package — perimeter lights, large underwater LEDs, and the LED-backlit cascading waterfall — was designed to wash colour across the shell. A white marbled interior picks up and carries every hue. On a dark shell, the lights just sit there. On this one, they paint the whole tub.

03

Built to sit with garden furniture.

The dark brown cabinet is colour-matched to the cover, and the pairing is designed to sit naturally alongside rattan — the most common garden furniture choice in a British back garden. It's not trying to be a feature. It's trying to blend in.

— A note on the range: Patio Spas, London SE, Erie SE, Alberta and Kingston ship with black covers instead of brown. The Vancouver ships with brown.

§ 04 · Seating Layout

Six seats.
Four positions.

Every seat in the Vancouver has been placed with the body in mind — where your armrests naturally fall, how deep you sit, and which muscle group meets which jet cluster.

  • 01 / NO-FLOAT LOUNGER
    Twin No-Float Loungers

Ergonomically sculpted to fit the average adult under 6'3". The contours under your thighs and across your seat hold you down when the hydrotherapy pumps are running — a flat lounger would lift you out of the water the moment the jets fired on your lower back. Ours keep you anchored.

  • 02 / LOVE SEAT
    A Pair Of Love Seats

Closer seating, shoulder-to-shoulder. Jet clusters target lumbar and lower back.

  • 03 / UPRIGHT
    Two Complementary Seats

Upright positions for guests or a shorter soak. Neck and shoulder jet focus.

  • 04 / STEP-IN
    Gracious Step-In Area

Wide entry between the two no-float loungers — dignified access at the end of a long day.

— A note on height

The no-float sculpting fits the average adult 6'3" and under like a glove. If you're 6'4" or taller, that same sculpting can feel cramped — you'd be better suited to our Niagara or Alberta models, which smooth the seat moulding closer to a flat lounger for taller frames. Not sure which way to go? Book a showroom visit and sit in both.

"Outstanding quality."

We have now enjoyed our Vancouver Spa hot tub for almost 3 years ago and are fortunate to have sited it where we have unprecedented views across a Dale in North Yorkshire. The tub arrived on the specified date and time, the engineers who installed and commissioned the tub were friendly and extremely efficient and the tub was up and running in no time at all and we duly christened it the following day.

The product is of outstanding quality and although we have had cause to contact the after-sales service on a couple of occasions we have found the staff to be knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and able to deal with our queries both quickly and efficiently and resolved them to our satisfaction.

We would therefore definitely have no hesitation in recommending the product to anyone who is contemplating purchasing a hot tub.

"5★ treatment with a 5★ product."

We purchased the Vancouver hot tub 2 years ago now and from start to finish Canadian Spa have been one of the best companies I have dealt with. Especially Xavier, from the first email to answering all questions, through to delivery and customer support afterwards — not only was he great when we first purchased the hot tub but even to now any questions have been so quick to reply to emails.

The Vancouver itself has been a great addition to our garden and honestly one of the best purchases we have made and I'm so glad that we went with Canadian Spa to make it the best experience. My aunty and uncle purchased the Winnipeg which we saw and again they couldn't recommend the company enough.

The delivery went smoothly considering it was a bit of an awkward access as we were at the beginning stage of having the garden redone. The guys did brilliantly and were very helpful from start to finish.

The hot tub has been brilliant, from the built-in speakers to the different LED lights and different massage settings. We have already had hours of relaxation time in there with many more to come.

If you are looking for a great hot tub at great prices with the best customer service around, then look no further than Canadian Spa. Highly recommended (especially Xavier) 5★ treatment with a 5★ product.

"Superior products, first-class service."

I recently shopped around to buy a hot tub. I spoke to a number of companies and, due to having difficult access to my garden, was not getting anywhere fast.

Canadian Spa and their customer service were superb in all respects. They supplied me a great tub — the Vancouver. They came out to install and were extremely professional in all matters and have left me a very satisfied customer. Xavier and Tony deserve special mention as they go above and beyond to answer queries.

I would definitely recommend Canadian Spa if you are in the market for a hot tub as their products after looking around appear superior and the customer service is first class which is rare in this country.

"They really did save the day."

Thank you so much to all at Canadian Spa for making the buying and installation of our Vancouver Spa a wonderful experience, and especially the installers, Graham and his colleague, who after finding out my wooden Gazebo framework was too low for the cover lifter mechanism to clear, helped me modify/alter it.

They really did save the day. I cannot recommend them and Canadian Spa enough — thank you everyone.

"Very patient, happy to help."

Bought the spa back in September 2015. Delivery driver arrived and the access was tight, so it took many manoeuvres to position the vehicle in order to crane the spa into my garden. Guy was very patient and happy to help.

Roughly 18 months after purchase one of the pumps stopped working. As the spa was still under warranty, we called Canadian Spa and they sent someone out straight away to replace it.

§ 08 · Before You Buy

Questions worth asking.

Can I get the Vancouver in another colour?

We only ship one finish: a marbled white shell with a dark brown cabinet and brown cover, designed to sit naturally alongside rattan garden furniture. It's a deliberate decision — the white shell hides waterline calcium that you'd otherwise be wiping off a dark shell every week, and it carries the Aurora™ LED lighting far better at night.

A few of our other ranges (Patio Spas, London SE, Erie SE, Alberta and Kingston) ship with black covers — but the Vancouver is brown across the board.

What's included in delivery and how long will it take?

Free kerbside delivery to mainland UK — we bring the Vancouver to the kerbside at your delivery address. You'll need clear access for the lorry and enough people on-site to move it into position. The Scottish Highlands are quotable on request.

If you'd rather not move it yourself, we offer an Upgraded Back Garden Installation Service for +£799. Our team handles getting the spa from the kerb into its final position in your garden. Access is the main thing to think about — we'll confirm the route with you before the day.

Current lead times: allow 2–3 weeks for kerbside delivery and 3–4 weeks for the Back Garden Installation Service. These are the cautious estimates we're quoting right now — we're normally faster than this, and we'll always confirm a firm date with you once your order is in.

How do the filters work, and when do they need replacing?

Your Vancouver arrives with two 50ft² Glacier antimicrobial filters already installed and ready to go. The filter media is infused with silver ions — a natural antimicrobial agent that inhibits bacterial growth on the filter itself for the full life of the cartridge. Paired with the Mountain Pure™ UV + ozone sanitation, it means cleaner water with fewer chemicals.

Replacement schedule: we recommend replacing the Glacier filters every 4–6 months, or sooner if they look discoloured or worn.

An upgrade every replacement pack: when you order your next set of filters, it now comes with two fine-mesh pre-filter screens included as standard at no extra cost. These sit on top of the Glacier cartridges and catch hair, grit, insects and anything else that comes in off a garden — before any of it reaches the main filter. The practical upshot: cleaner water, less filter cleaning, and cartridges that last the full 4–6 months more comfortably.

A good trick: keep two sets of filters on rotation, so you can pop in a clean set while you soak and rinse the used set overnight.

Will the loungers fit me if I'm tall?

The Vancouver's no-float loungers are sculpted to fit the average adult 6'3" and under. The contours under your thighs and across your seat act as an anchor — when the 5HP hydrotherapy pumps fire on your lower back, a flat lounger will quietly lift you out of the water. Ours don't, because the moulding holds you in place. That's the whole point of the design.

If you're 6'4" or taller, that same sculpting can feel restrictive rather than supportive. In that case, we'd point you at our Niagara or Alberta models, which smooth out the seat moulding closer to a flat lounger and accommodate taller frames more comfortably. Come and sit in both at our Redhill showroom — it's the only way to know for certain.

Do I need an annual service to keep the warranty active?

No. Our 2-year parts and labour warranty runs from the date of delivery with no mandatory annual service. Some brands require a paid manufacturer service every year to keep cover active — miss one, warranty voided. We think that's a tax, not a condition.

That said: an annual service is still a good idea for the long-term health of any hot tub. It's a recommendation we'll happily make — it's just not tied to your cover.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Two separate layers, both included as standard:

2 years parts & labour — the shell structure, pumps, heater, and control system. If something fails in normal use, we replace the part and fit it, anywhere in the UK.

10 years against water loss through the shell structure — structural protection for the core integrity of the acrylic body.

You can also extend the parts and labour cover by a further 2 years for £850 (this tier; £500 on Patio Spas, £1,200 on Swim Spas). The extension is stackable — buy it twice and you get four additional years — and can be purchased at any point while still under warranty.

What electrical supply do I need?

The Vancouver runs on 230 V and needs to be wired to a dedicated 32 A RCD breaker in your consumer unit, via an outside rotary isolator switch. Your electrician runs the cable (typically 6 mm armoured tri-core) from the RCD to the spa, and should leave roughly 5 m of slack outside the footprint of the spa so our installers can bring the armoured tail into the cabinet and connect it on delivery day. None of this kit — the breaker, the isolator, the cable, or the cable gland — is supplied with the spa or brought by our installers; we connect using the tail your electrician leaves. It's a short, straightforward job for any competent spark, but please have them lined up and the cable run ahead of delivery. Electrical connection itself sits outside our delivery and installation service.

How much does the Vancouver cost to run?

Running costs depend on your energy tariff, how often you use the spa, and your discipline with the cover. Thanks to the ThermalSprings™ heat reclamation system, triple-layer insulation, IR reflection and the winter-rated hardtop cover, most UK owners report monthly running costs in the region of £40–£80 across the year.

Pairing the Vancouver with our optional Balboa Clim8zone II heat pump typically reduces that further. Speak to the team on 01293 824 094 and we'll model your specific setup.

Is it actually usable all year round?

Yes. The Vancouver is built for year-round outdoor use — acrylic shell, triple-layer insulation, and a heat-trapping winter-rated cover with locking straps. Many owners say a soak on a cold, clear night is the single best argument for owning one.

What's included in the price?

As standard you get the hardtop locking insulating cover, the Aurora™ LED lighting system, the Bluetooth audio system, the two installed Glacier antimicrobial filters, the aromatherapy bead system, all manuals, and free kerbside delivery to mainland UK. Add the installation package and we also include a top-mount cover lifter, a black plastic step, and a chemical starter kit — these three can also be purchased separately if you don't want the install. What we don't supply is any of the electrical kit — the 32 A RCD breaker, outside rotary isolator, armoured cable, and cable gland all sit outside our scope and are fitted by your qualified electrician ahead of delivery day.

Can I see it in person?

Yes — please do. Our showroom is at Canada House, Unit 1, Salbrook Road, Redhill, Surrey · RH1 5GL. Ten minutes from Gatwick. Open Monday to Friday 9am–6pm and weekends 10am–4pm. No appointment needed, but booking means we'll try to have the Vancouver available to view for you when you arrive.
